Marie E. Voskuil, 85, of Brandon, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Ripon Medical Center.

Marie was born May 23, 1931 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles and Ella Mitzfeld Majewski. Marie was a graduate of Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac and attended Marion College for two years. On August 19, 1950 she married Earl Voskuil in Fond du Lac. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun until 1972 when they moved to Brandon. Marie was employed as a waitress at Pyramid Supper Club in Beaver Dam for nearly 30 years. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon where she was a Sunday School teacher and was active with the Emanuel Lutheran Church Women. She was known as a loving mother.

Marie is survived by six children: Sandee (Dan) Carter of Ft. Collins, CO, Steve (Beth) Voskuil of Waupun, Susen Hammen, and special friend, Randy Ziegler of Ripon, Sheila (Ronald) Davidson of Brandon, Brien (Maureen) Voskuil of Milwaukee, and Sheryl Lau (fiance, Rich Finley) of Ripon; and seven grandchildren: Katie (fiance, Bryon), Nicholas (Jana), Tyler, Tara, and Erin Voskuil, and Sierra and Pyper Finley.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 2012; a son, Gregory; a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Lynn Voskuil; a sister, Dorothy Schibline; a brother, Leon Majewski; and her parents.


Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.


Funeral services for Marie Voskuil will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon with Pastor Bob Rosenberg officiating.


Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.

    My sympathy goes out to the family. I worked many of the 30 year with “Bubbles” Marie at the Pyramid and truly enjoyed knowing her.

    • Sharon-Thank you very much my mother shared many stories of the crew and parties that she worked with all of you. That had to be my mother’s favorite job as she was in her element there. Food and fun. Her red headed daughter Sheila
