Lois Brewer, 91, of Waupun, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun where she resided for the past few years.

Lois was born December 28, 1921 in Waupun, the daughter of Harry and Helen Hanisch Landaal. On October 26, 1940 she married Leo Brewer in Waupun. The couple resided in Waupun until 1964 at which time they moved to Oshkosh. While residing in Oshkosh Lois was employed in food service at Winnebago Mental Health Center. Lois and Leo enjoyed their retirement years at their cottage in Northern Wisconsin and winters in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Louise (Daniel) Powell of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Gregory (Diane) Brewer of Sebring, FL and Dean (Lynn) Brewer of Waukesha; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a sister, Karyl Van Den Hoek of Waupun; and nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Brewer in 2002; four sisters, Dorothy Edmunds, Ruth Beer Landaal, Ardis Yule, and Bette Felsman.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun.

Burial: [/highlight_text]
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton with Rev. Greg Nuernberg officiating.

The family suggests memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Foundation or a charity of your choice.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. I know it has been hard the last few years of her life but I know how much I still miss my mother. I remember Lois’s laugh and how much my mother enjoyed seeing her when I would take her for a visit.
I would love to be there on Tuesday, however I am in our winter home in AZ.
