[highlight_text] (1959 – 2013) [/highlight_text] Kathleen A. Teachout, 54, of Waupun, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at her home.


[leftcolumn] Kathy was born April 2, 1959 in Waupun, the daughter of Gordon and Diana Psiropoulos Hackbarth. Kathy was a graduate of Waupun High School in 1978.

On September 13, 1980 she married Timothy J. Teachout in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun most of their married lives. Kathy worked at various restaurants in Waupun and did housekeeping at the Americinn in Waupun. Kathy raised two boys and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed fishing and going to the deer camp where she was known as chief cook and bottle washer.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Teachout of Waupun; their two sons, Jeremy (Melissa) Teachout of Waupun and Corey J. Teachout of Waupun; a grandchild, Sutton Avery Teachout, daughter of Jeremy and Melissa; three sisters, Mary L. (Kip) Hughes of Clarence, NY, Donna M. (Verlin) Bruns of Fall River, WI, and Flora J. (Terry) Carter of New Boston, TX; along with several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Services: [/highlight_text] Memorial services for Kathleen Teachout will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Dennis Richards officiating.
