What a loving and caring person Claudia was — I feel so fortunate that I got to know and love her when she was a neighbor of my mom’s. She will be missed by so many people whose lives she has touched.

I want to extend my sincere sympathy to Claudia’s family. At a recent funeral I attended, the pastor emphasized the importance of “the dash”—that time between the birth date and death date. Your mom used her time on earth to share her faith and bring joy to others. My mom, Irene, enjoyed being part of Claudia’s weekly Bible studies, especially when mom was at Friendship Haven. There were often fresh flowers in mom’s room–another gift from Claudia to brighten a day. Your mom certainly modeled what Christian living is all about. Those of us who knew her will treasure the memories we have of her.
