Carol Gray, 64, of Waupun, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
Carol was born November 28, 1951 in Ripon, WI the daughter of Paul and Bernice Hollman Steinberg. Carol was a graduate of Ripon High School. On March 16, 1972 she married David Gray in Ridgecrest, CA. Following their marriage the couple moved to Waupun. Carol was employed at Maysteel Corporation in both Mayville and Allenton for several years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her husband, David, hunting, hiking, and motorcycling.
Carol is survived by her husband, David Gray of Waupun; a brother, Dennis (Sue) Steinberg of Oshkosh; a sister, Joann (Johann) Costello of Oshkosh; sisters-in-law, Mary Budahn of Mayville and Sandy Gray of Waupun; nephew and niece, Danny Budahn and Jessica Kempf; and other nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Michael Steinberg.
Visitation
Friends and relatives may gather with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
Services
Memorial services for Carol Gray will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun.

I just learned of the passing of Carol and was deeply saddened. I was in her Conformation Class in Ripon as well as in her graduation class. Carol sat behind me in Home Room every day for all four years of High School, and although the last day I saw her was at Graduation (I have been in Montana since 1979), I have always remembered Carol. Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of Carol. She was a special friend.
