1953 - 2017

Barbara Ellen, 64
Barbara Ellen Loomans, a devoted mother, grandmother and life-long resident of Waupun, WI, died unexpectedly on July 23, 2017, at the age of 64 at Waupun Memorial Hospital from a pulmonary embolism.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Harris; their daughter and her husband, Nicole and Bob Krahn, and their children, Brianna (14) and Aidan (10); and their son and his wife, Adam and Rachel Loomans, and their children Esmé (7) and Elena (4).

Barbara was born on June 25, 1953, the daughter of James Landaal and Harriet Loomans. Barbara received her LPN degree and worked at Dodge Correctional as a dental hygienist. Barbara was an avid reader who loved spending time with her family, always knew the right things to say, gave the most heartfelt advice and proudly carried the title of #1 cheerleader for the family. She was selfless and loved her grandkids more than life itself. Barbara is now at peace and will live on in the memories of the people she touched.

Her family will hold a private ceremony to honor her wishes.

To Harris and family, We were saddened to hear of your loss. When I was still working at the library, Barb would come in often. We would chat about your family and our friends, along with book titles. She was a wonderful person. There are no sufficient words at times like this. We trust the Lord and believe as Christians that her life has not ended but changed. When our purpose in life has been fulfilled we are called by Him. The arms of God surrounded her with an abundance of love and transported her to her heavenly home. There are no earthly words that can describe the true beauty, comfort and peace of Heaven. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sent with love, Clyde & Donna Maxwell
