Warren Mecklenberg

Warren P. Mecklenberg, age 81, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Warren was born June 28, 1943 in Waupun, the son of Chester and Marcella Prust Mecklenberg. Warren was a graduate of Waupun High School in 1961. On April 27, 1963 he married Judy Beekman in Beaver Dam. The couple lived in Atwater for 26 years, and moved to Waupun in 1990. Warren was employed by Shaler Co. and National Rivet Manufacturing for 43 years, retiring in 2004. Warren and Judy have enjoyed camping for several years with a campsite at Indian Trails near Pardeeville. Warren is an active member of Union-Congregational Church in Waupun.

Warren is survived by his wife, Judy Mecklenberg of Waupun; children: Tammy (Todd) Wallinger of Gilbert, AZ and Steven (Ronda) Mecklenberg of Waupun; four grandchildren: Jordan, Evan, Ashley, and Brooke; a sister, Sandy (Paul) Lang of Slinger; and a sister-in-law, Georgia Mecklenberg of Waupun.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers: Donald Mecklenberg and Jerry Mecklenberg and his wife, Cil.

Funeral services for Warren Mecklenberg will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Jacob Nault officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
