Wanda M. Listau, 1954-2022
Wanda M. Listau, 68, of Randolph, Wisconsin passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 17, 2022. She was born on December 5, 1954, to William and Bernice Minnema. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Ewald E. Listau, parents, William and Bernice Minnema, sister Charlene Paul, and brother Warren Minnema.
Wanda is survived by her beloved daughters, Cassondre K Buteyn (David Wilson) and Shaunna Adams (Eugene Adams), grandchildren Kedrik Wilson, Keilana Wilson, Kenzie Wilson, Paige Wilson, and Hannah Adams. Wanda is survived by her sisters and brothers brother Howard (Evelyn) Minnema, Bill (Theresa) Minnema, Jim Minnema, Diane (Gary) Moldenhauer, and Daniel Minnema.
Wanda was a very special lady to anyone who knew her. She had a sharp wit and charisma that made her so loved by many. Wanda had an undeniable gift for bargaining and dealing antiques. She could quote from memory the going price of commodities. She had a passion for treasure hunting at thrift stores and providing people with what they needed. To Wanda, everything and everyone had value, no matter their station in life.
Wanda had the gift of gab and a loving sense of humor. Her genuineness and presence brought joy to anyone who knew her. Wanda loved to tease, and one never knew what she was going to think of next. She took pride in maintaining her beautiful lake property, and throughout her life, she loved cross-stitch, sewing, cooking, bowling, gardening, and selling at the flea market. She adored dogs, especially her loving companion Great Dane, Jersey.
Pursuant to her wishes, a funeral service will not be held. Wanda wanted everyone to instead remember her as she was while alive. To honor Wanda, take time to find humor and contentment in the little things.
