Terrie Kostka

Terrie Kostka, 60, of the Fond du Lac area, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Terrie was born September 16, 1962 in New Albany, Mississippi, the daughter of Kenneth and Wilma-Jean Grisham Kidd. Terrie attended Moraine Park and received an associates degree in nursing. She worked in various nursing homes and in home care for St. Agnes Hospital. After her career in health care she managed the McDonald’s in Waupun where she made many friends. She loved books and would get lost in her reading. Terrie also enjoyed gardening and dragonflies and was an animal lover.

Terrie is survived by her children: Christine Vasquez, Clyde “Mac” McKinley Jr., James “Jim” McKinley, Anna (Mike) McKinley, and Karina Vasquez (significant other, Trevor); grandchild, Joseph McKinley; special lifetime friend, Justin Kostka; mother, Wilma-Jean White; a brother, Gary White; a sister, Sherry Gonzales; and many nieces and nephews.

Terrie was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Kidd; grandson, Jayden Vasquez; brother, Scotty Bachman; and nephew, Juan “JJ” Gonzales Jr. 

Funeral services for Terrie Kostka will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 12 noon at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
