Taylor VanDusen

Taylor Robert VanDusen, age 29 of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Taylor was born on October 6, 1994 in Madison the son of Michael Robert and Patricia Lynn (Hayes) Van Dusen. He was a miracle child after his parents were told they were unable to bear children. He graduated from Portage High School in 2013 and furthered his education at Madison Media Institute earning his applied science degree in 2015. Taylor loved music, played any instrument given to him. He excelled in guitar playing and could light up the room!

Taylor will be sadly missed and mourned by his mother, Patty Van Dusen (Chuck Mitchell); his father, Mike Van Dusen (Sue Westover); grandmother, Virginia Hayes; aunts and uncles, Diana (Mark) Schultz, Godfather Bob Hayes, Godmother Lisa (Ken) Schuster, Becky Van Dusen and Teresa McQuay; cousins, Steph, Eric, Sarah, Charles, Kristina, Sayers, Silas, Lily and Darrell; step grandmother, Denise Wingers Hayes; several other relatives, many friends and his beloved canine Baby Girl. 

Taylor was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bob Hayes; and fraternal grandparents Robert and Lucy Van Dusen.

A Celebration of Life for Taylor will be held at the Fox Lake American Legion, 210 W. State St., on Sunday, October 6, 2024 beginning at 12 noon. A light lunch will be provided. Come celebrate with us as it is also Taylor’s 30th birthday.
