Steven DeMotts

Steven DeMotts, 46, of Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home.

Steve was born October 18, 1969 in Waupun the son of Donald and Sharon Straks DeMotts. Steve attended Waupun schools and worked on various farms, Alsum Produce, and Flexographic in Waupun. Steve was a baptized member of Alto Reformed Church and was an active member of the Gratitude Club in Fond du Lac. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and loved music.

Steve is survived by his parents, Don and Sharon DeMotts of rural Waupun; a sister, Rene (Richard) Frost of Bloomingdale, IL; two brothers: Doug (Julie) DeMotts of Fond du Lac, and Scott (Carrie) DeMotts of Waupun; and his nieces and nephews: Taylor, Zane, Ty, Bobby, Ashley, Hannah, and Jake.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.


Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4-7 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.


Memorial services for Steve DeMotts will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at

Alto Reformed Church

in Alto with Rev. Ted Medema officiating.
