Shirley Jean Vande Zande, 77, of Waupun, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at The Christian Home in Waupun.
Shirley was born April 16, 1935 in Waupun, the daughter of Garrett and Mildred Donais Hinkamp. On November 7, 1952 she married Robert Vande Zande in Waupun. Shirley was an avid gardener and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Shirley is survived by her children, Bruce Allen (Lori) Vande Zande, Donna (Duane) Hove, Mardi (Scott) Baumann, Phillip (Amy) Vande Zande, Gregory (Janet) Vande Zande, and Mitch Vande Zande; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Olson.
Shirley was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Krueger, and Rue Furmann; and three brothers, Bernard Hinkamp, Don Olson, and Jack Olson.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Shirley Jean Vande Zande will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Waupun United Methodist Church in Waupun with Rev. J.D. McCarty officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Oak Mound Cemetery in Alto.
