Shawn Kimpel

Shawn Kimpel, 26, of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. 

Shawn was born July 25, 1996 the son of Jeff and Tracy Kastorff Kimpel. Shawn graduated from Waupun High School in 2014. He was a huge animal lover. He was always friendly, willing to help anyone, and would give you the shirt off his back. Shawn loved hanging out with friends. He will be missed for his loving nature and will be remembered for his warm smile. He loved his family, his cat Weezy, and dog Yoda. As the oldest child, Shawn taught his younger brothers so much over the years. He loved them so much. Shawn really enjoyed swimming and jumping off the diving board. He really loved any outdoor activities and also loved video games. Shawn touched so many lives while here on earth, and will forever continue to touch others beyond life. 

Shawn is survived by his parents, Jeff (Tracy) Kimpel; brothers: Nathan (Autumn) Kimpel and Matthew Kimpel; and other relatives and friends.

Shawn was preceded in death by all his grandparents; and uncle Richard Kimpel.

Funeral services for Shawn Kimpel will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Doug Shotsky officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
