1940-2015
Roger Fuller, 74, a long-time resident of Randolph, died Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 in Beaver Dam.
Roger was born November 2, 1940 in the town of Courtland the son of Fayette and Norma Turben Fuller. Rog “Turb” attended Randolph schools and graduated from high school in 1959. On December 10, 1960 he married the love of his life, Phyllis Westra, at the United Methodist Church in Randolph. Roger’s love for baseball began in high school and it carried through graduation as he played for the Randolph City Team, Metalfab Manufacturing, and Randolph Slow Pitch. Roger also coached Babe Ruth Baseball in Randolph. Roger was employed at Metalfab Manufacturing and retired from Maysteel Manufacturing in Columbus. He enjoyed baseball, football, fishing, camping, drawing and painting.
Roger is survived by his children: Roseanna (Richard “Chumly”) Mace of Markesan, Tami (Steve) Eisenga of Fox Lake, Angie Hull (fiancé, Bob Hartgerink) of Waupun, and Steve (Gloria) Fuller of Randolph; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon (Nellie) Fuller of Florida; a sister, Mary Ann Haberman of Columbus, WI; the mother of his children, Phyllis Fuller; and nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Burleigh Fuller; a sister, Marjorie Fuller; and a brother-in-law, Hubert Haberman, Jr.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Roger Fuller may call on the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
A funeral service and celebration of Roger’s life will take place Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Elliott Pollasch officiating.
Burial:
A private family committal service will take place Monday.
