Rob G. Miller, 43, of Markesan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 15, 2017.

Rob was born January 16, 1974 in Hartford, WI the son of Michael and Shirley Guerndt Wigman. Rob graduated from Horicon High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Marines for four years. He was a Military Policeman in California for most of the four years. Upon returning home he attended college and received a degree in healthcare. On May 16, 2009 he married Monica Werth in Burnett. Rob worked at the Dean Clinic in Beaver Dam and then at Waupun Correctional Institution as a correctional officer. His favorite passion and inspiration in life was being the best daddy he could be. Rob was a big kid at heart. He was a funny, outgoing, comedian himself. In his free time, Rob’s creative mind allowed him to express himself through woodworking, painting, writing, drawing, and so much more.

Rob is survived by his wife, Monica of Markesan; three children: Gavin, Kynlee, and Marcus; his parents, Shirley (Michael) Wigman of Fox Lake; a brother, Joe Miller of Randolph; two sisters: Laurie Ann (special friend, Dan Hill) of Beaver Dam, and Paula (Tom) Lodzinski of Sussex, WI; grandmother, Audrey Guerndt of Kewaskum; Godparents, Sue (Greg) Lastovich of Rubicon; very special friends, JT and Pat; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents; and in-laws, Fred and Dolores Werth.




Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of service.



Funeral services for Rob G. Miller will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 at 5 p.m. at Union-Congregational Church, 125 Beaver Dam St. Waupun with Gwen Loomans officiating.



In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the family.
