Richard N. Mitchell, Sr., 77, of Waupun, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun.
Richard was born March 31, 1937 in St. Louis, MO the son of Henry and Cecelia Burrell Mitchell. On August 20, 1955 he married Joyce Ann Archambault in Overland, MO. The couple resided in the St. Louis area. Richard was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for over 40 years. In 2008 Richard moved to Waupun.
Richard is survived by two sons: Brian Mitchell of Juneau, and Mark Mitchell of Burnett; a daughter, Laurie Elliott of Beaver Dam; grandchildren: Ryan and Cody Mitchell, and Sheena and Elizabeth Mitchell; two brothers: Jim (Glenora) Mitchell of Troy, MO, and Don Mitchell of St. Louis, MO; two sisters: Margaret (Ray) Juergens of Chesterfield, MO, and Virginia Barkledge of Creve Coeur, MO.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Mitchell of Beaver Dam; a son, Richard Mitchell, Jr.; two sisters, Patricia Naughton and Doris Martin; and a brother, Larry Mitchell.

Funeral services and burial will take place in Troy, MO.
