Richard Donnermeyer

Richard Donnermeyer, 79, of Waupun, passed away January 15, 2018 at Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

Richard was born at home in Kaukauna, WI on November 6, 1938, the son of Michael and Lucille Depatie Donnermeyer. Richard completed Outagamie County Teachers College and taught at one of the last remaining one room schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from UW-Oshkosh. On January 23, 1971 Richard and Carol Muckerheide were married. Richard was an accomplished gardener, a lover of games of skill, and a vintage movie buff. He enjoyed watching the Badgers and Packers.

Keeping his memory alive are his wife, Carol; his daughter, Carolyn; granddaughters: Caitlyn and Sophia; his sisters: Mary and NorRita (Fritz); brother, Michael; sister-in-law, Sandra (Mike); and brothers-in-law, Mike and Bruce.

Richard was preceded in death by his twin daughters at birth; his parents; his sister, Carol; in-laws: Art and Gerry Muckerheide, Dale and David; and other relatives and friends.



Per Richard’s request no funeral service will be held and cremation has taken place. Everyone is encouraged to enjoy a day of love and peace in Richard’s memory.
