Randall E. Derksen, 63, of Waupun, passed unexpectedly at his home on October 1, 2016.

Randy was born January 21, 1953 in Waupun, the son of Clifford and Ellen Kastein Derksen. Randy was a graduate of Waupun High School. He then started working at National Rivet and later farmed in the Waupun area. He eventually retired from National Rivet after 44 years of employment. Randy enjoyed gardening, watching sports, and hunting. He was very passionate about volunteering at Edgewood Community Church. He loved watching his grandchildren grow and going to their events.

Randy is survived by his mother, Ellen Derksen: four sons: Jason (Tifany) Derksen, Adam (Jenny) Derksen, Casey (Elizabeth) Derksen, and Mickey Derksen (special friend, Amanda); five grandchildren: Torrie, Anthony, Haylee, Abby, and Brandon; brother, Ron (Phyllis) Derksen of Pennsylvania; sisters: Diane (Phil) Simon of Fond du Lac, Delaine (Wayne) Zuhlke of Beaver Dam, Carla (Jim) Petersen of Kewaskum, and Carol Derksen of Oshkosh; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Clifford; and brother, Paul.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.


Funeral services for Randy Derksen will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at

Edgewood Community Church

with Pastor Roger Knowlton officiating.


Burial will follow at

Forest Mound Cemetery

in Waupun.
