Ramona Mulder, 88, of Waupun, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 4, 2013.
Ramona was born June 9, 1925 in the town of Alto the daughter of Ryan and Flora Triemstra DeVries. On June 25, 1948 she married Willis Mulder in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all of their married lives. Ramona was a faithful member of Grace United Reformed Church in Waupun, where she was a member of the Oasis Bible Study. Ramona loved to read, sing, and study God’s word. She found great joy in caring for her family and being involved in the activities of her grandchildren.
Ramona is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willis Mulder of Waupun; two daughters, Faye(Ron) Scheuers of Chino, CA and Amy (Larry) Van Den Berg of Waupun; three sons, Daniel(Phyllis) Mulder of Waukesha, WI, Phillip (Sharon) Mulder of Sioux Center, Iowa, and Joseph (Sandra) Mulder of Delavan, WI; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Mulder of Alto; two sisters, Ann Lemmenes and Theresa Buteyn of Waupun; a sister-in-law, Annabelle DeVries of Waupun; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Ramona was preceded in death by a son, Steven Mulder; three brothers, Ryan, Bert, and John DeVries; and four sisters, Sarah Stiemsma, Clara Levey, Dorothy Perton, and an infant sister.
Visitation:
Funeral Services for Ramona Mulder will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:30am at the First Christian Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Talman Wagenmaker officiating.
Services:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday at the Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4:00-7:00pm and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30am until the time of service.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery in Alto.
