Rada Krohn, 72, of rural Brandon, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her home.
Rada was born August 24, 1940 in Salem, IL the daughter of Omer and Gladys Ball Wilcoxen. Rada was a graduate of Salem High School in Salem, IL. On May 27, 1967 she married Fred Krohn in Salem, IL. Following their marriage the couple moved to the Brandon area where they farmed for 45 years. Rada was a member of the Union-Congregational Church in Waupun and the Rising Sun Grange.
Rada is survived by her husband, Fred Krohn of rural Brandon; a daughter, Renee Krohn (Tim Vaughn) of rural Brandon; a son, Dean (Amy) Krohn of rural Brandon; 3 grandchildren, Edward, Lucy, and Heather Krohn; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Krohn of Waupun; and nieces and nephews.
Rada was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eugene Wilcoxen; a sister, Willadene Wilcoxen; an infant son, Eugene Frederick Krohn; and a brother-in-law, Gib Krohn.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Rada Krohn may call on the family on Wednesday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 5-7 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Memorial services for Rada Krohn will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Union-Congregational Church in Waupun with Rev. Mark Arbisi officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Wedges Prairie Cemetery in the town of Waupun.
