Pearl Vossekuil, 82, of Brandon, passed away at her home Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
Pearl was born October 28, 1934 in the town of Alto, the daughter of John B. and Theodora Neevel Kastein. Pearl was a graduate of Waupun High School. On April 30, 1954 she married Lloyd Vossekuil in Alto. Pearl and Lloyd farmed in the Brandon area most of their married lives. Pearl was an active member of Alto Reformed Church and served in many capacities. Pearl was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a faithful servant, now with her Lord.
Pearl is survived by two sons: Mark (Beth) Vossekuil and Scott (Robin) Vossekuil, both of Brandon; daughter, Kay (David) Block of Fond du Lac; grandchildren: Tonya (Joel) Bruins, Jade (Dan) Bresser, Katie Vossekuil, Marcus (Kelli) Vossekuil, Julia, Laura, and Andrew Block, Heather (Craig) Yunto, and Paige, Berkley, and Reid Vossekuil; great-grandchildren: Rylan, Ashlan, Sawyer, Brinley, Lucas, Jenna, Peyton, Eyon, Landen, and Kendra; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bernard and Erna Vossekuil of Waupun; and nieces and nephews.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Vossekuil; a daughter, Marcia Vossekuil; two brothers: Kenneth and Roger Kastein; and a sister, Mildred Van Buren.
The family invites friends and relatives to join them in a celebration of Pearl Vossekuil’s life, Friday, February 3, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at Alto Reformed Church with Rev. Kevin Van Wyk officiating.
A time of fellowship with light snacks will be held at the church at 6:30 p.m. following the service.
