Niles R. Seering, 79, of Burnett, died Friday, July 13, 2012 at his home in the arms of his wife.
Niles was born December 11, 1932 in the town of Burnett the son of Walter and Evelyn Rohde Seering. Niles attended Union Dairy Grade School in rural Burnett and graduated from Horicon High School in 1950. After graduation, he moved to Milwaukee and worked at Nordbergs for 13 years. He then moved to Beaver Dam and was employed at John Deere for 29 years. After he retired from John Deere he worked for Dodge County Transportation for 16 years. Niles was a member of Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun.
Niles is survived by his wife of 20 years, Darlene Seering; his children, Diane (Mark) Hampton, Mike Seering, Gary (Karen) Seering, Brian (Mary Kay) Seering, and Mark (Jen) Seering; stepchildren, Renee Galske, Steve (Karen) Galske, Sandy Galske, Jim (Tina) Galske, Kevin (Kim) Galske, Tammy Watters, Dale (Mary) Streblow, Dan (Nancy) Streblow, Dennis (Betsy) Streblow, Debra (Bob) Hauck, Randall (Merikay) Streblow, Tammy (Bill) Naber, and Bruce (Hope) Schellpfeffer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Jan (Rochelle) Seering; and a sister-in-law, Donna Seering.
Niles was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bill Seering; a brother, Reed Seering; and two nephews, Jeff and Kyle Seering.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Niles Seering will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 12 noon at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun with Rev. Mike Stock officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Stone Cemetery in the town of Burnett.
