Murilla Amadon, 88, of Waupun, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at the Christian Homestead in Waupun.
Murilla was born Sept. 5, 1923, in LaCrosse, Wis., the daughter of John and Leona Cain Limberg.
On Sept. 26, 1942, she married George Amadon in Waupun. Following their marriage, the couple resided in Waupun all of their married lives.
Murilla loved to read and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun.
Murilla is survived by a son, Gregory (Judy) Amadon of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Boots Pillsbury of Waupun; a brother, Robert (Pearl) Limberg of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Amadon in 1990; a daughter, Carla La Pine in 2011; and a brother, Johnny Limberg.
Services:
Funeral services for Murilla Amadon will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waupun, with Fr. Michael Wild officiating.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Murilla Amadon may call on the family on Wednesday, at the church, from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. time of service.
