Minnie VanBuren

Minnie VanBuren, 94, of Anchor Communities in Fox Lake, passed away peacefully during the early hours on Monday, September 4, 2023 with her son by her side. She is finally home and in the arms of her Savior, Jesus.

Minnie was born March 7, 1929 in Waupun to Herbert and Minnie Rens Bille.  On July 19, 1948 she married Alvin Loomans.  Following his passing in 1995, she then married Lester VanBuren on November 9, 2002. They were married until his passing in 2017.

Minnie is survived by her son, Steve, and his wife, Gwen; grandsons: Chad and his wife Lynnae, and Brett and his wife Angie; great-grandchildren: Emma, Brody, and Rhett Gerrits, Malek Loomans, and Merlayna, Stella, Zeke, and Jett Loomans; brother, Bernard Bille; and sisters-in-law: Phyllis VandeKamp and Geraldine Loomans. 

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, September 10, 2023 at First Reformed Church in Waupun with Pastor Gwen Loomans officiating. A visitation will begin at 4 p.m. and the memorial service will start at 5 p.m.
