Michael Pluim, 65, of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 31, 2023 at his home.
Mike was born March 13, 1958, to Harold and Mildred Loomans Pluim. Mike attended Waupun schools until becoming a dairy farmer in rural Waupun all of his life. He married Robyn Schiniger September 19, 1981 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun. Mike and Robyn ran and worked the dairy farm all their married lives. He had a great sense of humor and could always make people laugh. Mike enjoyed tractor pulling, drag racing, attending his daughters’ softball games, and spending time with family and his pride and joy granddaughter.
Mike is survived by his wife of 41 years, Robyn; two daughters: Devan (Nate) Vossekuil and Hailey (Fiance Bennett Buerger) Pluim; a granddaughter, Paisley Vossekuil; sister-in-law, Gwen McDowell; brother-in-law, Lance (Char) Schiniger; three sisters: Mary Pluim, Ardell Pluim, and Barb Pluim; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law; and brother-in-law, Greg McDowell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at the family farm at N3599 Cattaraugus Rd. Waupun.
