Michael P. "Mike" Mcdonald

Michael P. "Mike" McDonald, age 25, passed away Monday January 11, 2015 at his home in Randolph, WI. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Randolph with Rev. Linda Heisler officiating. Relatives and friends may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Mike was born on Sept. 23, 1990 in Beaver Dam the son of Pete and Brenda (Quade) McDonald. He attended Randolph elementary school and graduated from Randolph High School in 2009. While in high school, he enjoyed carpentry and shop classes. Mike went on to further his education at MATC in Architectural Design and decided to invest in real estate, purchasing a home in Randolph and entered into the workforce having been employed with Menard's in Beaver Dam. Mike worked at Menard's until he purchased MC Printing in Randolph. Mike then moved to California where he sought treatment for his addiction. While in rehabilitation, Mike found he truly enjoyed working with and helping other people who were also fighting addiction. Mike returned home for Thanksgiving and was currently seeking full time employment while doing small jobs on the side. In his free time, Mike loved to hang with all his friends whether it was playing pool or shooting darts. He will be remembered for his Irish smiling face and charismatic personality. Mike was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Randolph. Mike cherished life, his family and friends and was looking forward to becoming a counselor to help others in recovery. Unfortunately, his addiction to heroin took that dream away from him. Mike will be sadly missed and mourned by his parents, Pete (Brenda) McDonald and his brother, Pete Jr., all of Randolph; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; several other relatives and many dear friends. Mike was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
