Michael Bos

Michael Bos, 65, of Brandon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Mike was born December 1, 1956 in Waupun to John C. and Shirley (Kraemer) Bos. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Waupun High School. On October 1, 1977, he married the love of his life, Sharon Redeker, at Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon. The couple resided in Brandon all of their married lives. Mike worked at Redeker Dairy for about 20 years. He was then employed at the Waupun Area School District for 23 years where he worked his way up to Director of Building and Grounds, retiring in 2018. Mike enjoyed his retirement years spending time at his hunting land where he could always find something to do. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, traveling, hunting and golfing. He was a member of Bethel Church of Brandon.

Mike is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Bos; children: Jason (Jen) Bos and Jenna (Mitch) Vis; 10 grandchildren: Keena, Landen, Calen, and Brooks Bos, Eva and Emerson Umentum, and Grady, Griffin, Ezra, and Eliza Vis; sister, Laurie (Randy) Vande Slunt; brother, Tony (Emma) Bos, sister-in-law, Sue Bos; mother-in-law, Ardis Redeker; brother-in-law, Rick (Karen) Redeker, sisters-in-law: Sandy (Kelly) Vande Zande, Deb (Randy) Pinnow, Rose (Mike) Tenpas; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Calvin Bos; and father-in-law, Glen L. Redeker.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of service.



A celebration of Mike’s life will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at 5 p.m. at Bethel Church of Brandon with Pastor John Tilstra officiating.
