1922-2015 Mathilda “Tillie” Blank, 92, of Brandon, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Marvin’s Manor in Brandon.
Tillie was born July 23, 1922 in Lamartine the daughter of Otto and Rose Schmidt Redmann. On January 21, 1945 she married Milton “Jack” Blank in Brandon. The couple farmed in the Brandon area most of their married lives. Hosting Sunday family dinners was a special part of Tillie’s life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed watching sports on TV, reading, and “word search books.” She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon.
Tillie is survived by three daughters: Bev (Tom) Schmuhl of Brandon, Linda (Jim) Weinberger of LeRoy, and Carol (Keith) Weyer of Fond du Lac; two sons: David “Charlie” (Connie) Blank of Brandon, and Jeff (Micki) Blank of Brandon; 11 grandchildren: Joe (Shelly) Schmuhl, Jennifer (special friend Andy) Schmuhl, Michelle (Cody) Farrell, Heidi (Ben) Stanczyk, Jim (Melissa) Weinberger, Joshua (Monica) Weinberger, Tyler (Nicole) Weyer, Kelsey (special friend Eric) Weyer, Ashley Blank, Ryley Blank, and Nicholas Blank; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Margaret Redmann of Brandon, and Louise Vande Zande of Hudson, MI; a brother, Ron Redmann of Brandon; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives of Tillie Blank may call on the family on Thursday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Tillie Blank will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon with Rev. Bob Rosenberg officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Brandon Cemetery.
