Mary Schwantz, 57, of Waupun, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her residence.
Mary was born January 23, 1959 in Waukesha, WI the daughter of Warren and Annie Tindell Osborn. Mary attended Muskego High School and graduated in 1977. Following high school she married Thomas Bores. On July 3, 1999 she married Todd Schwantz and the couple resided in the Waupun area. Mary was employed for many years by Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee and then moved to Waupun where she was employed by Federal Mogul. Mary was an avid fisherwoman, enjoyed playing darts, bowling, and spending time with her granddaughter, Madelynn.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Alissa (Christopher) Bishop of Waupun; her granddaughter, Madelynn; her husband, Todd Schwantz of Beaver Dam; her father, Warren J. Osborn of Naples, FL; three sisters: Jewell Schmoldt of Burlington, Marlene (Jim) Kowalkowski of Muskego, and Cheryl (Peter) Lentz of Muskego; two brothers: Warren (Dawn) Osborn of Big Bend; Louie Osborn of Las Vegas; special family friend, Meghan (Jeremy) Schmitz of Richfield; and nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Osborn, in February 2015.
Friends and relatives may call on the family at Trinity Reformed Church in Waupun from 4p.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services for Mary Schwantz will be held Thursday evening, October 13, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Reformed Church in Waupun.
