Marvin Jahns, 91, of Brandon, passed away peacefully Friday, February 26, 2021 at Anchor Communities II in Brandon.
Marvin was born August 14, 1929 in the town of Metomen, the son of William and Ida Weidner Jahns. On May 31, 1950 he married Adeline Vande Slunt in Brandon. Following their marriage the couple resided in the Brandon area for most of their married lives while raising three children. Marvin worked at the shoe factory in Waupun for 25 years and at National Rivet for 22 years where he retired in August 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and snowmobiling. He was a senior member of the Brandon snowmobile club. He also loved camping, biking, feeding birds, and woodworking. He was a member of Brandon United Methodist Church and a Cub Scout Leader.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Adeline of Brandon; two sons: Clayton (Jeanine) Jahns of Brandon and Jerry (Michele) Jahns of Juneau; his daughter, Brenda Jahns of Ripon; four grandchildren: Trisha, Justin (Karen), Katie (fiance, Chad), and Joshua (Kara) Jahns; and a great-granddaughter, Sadie.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Leslie, Arnold, and Gerald Jahns; and three sisters: Evelyn Diebert, Mildred Haase, and Marian Frost.
Visitation
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Services
Memorial services for Marvin Jahns will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at House of Worship in Brandon with Pastor Barry Lang officiating.

Inurnment
Inurnment will follow at Brandon Cemetery.
