Kingston: Marjorie Jean Dolgner, age 91, died peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Barrett House in Ripon, WI. Marjorie was born on Sept. 3, 1929 in the Courtland Township, the daughter of Charles and Cecelia (Graves) Kovalaske. She attended the Courtland School and graduated from Cambria High School in 1948. She furthered her education at Columbia County Normal and taught at the Doylestown and Randolph School systems. Marjorie was united in marriage to Donald Dolgner on Aug. 20, 1955 at the former St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Randolph. Together they farmed in the Salemville area until moving to Kingston in 1985. Besides being a devoted mother to her ten children, Marjorie was dedicated to her church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kingston, where she was active with the Altar Society and church council. She also enjoyed decorating the church and cleaning when needed. Marjorie will be remembered for her love of family, her flowers and her homemade cinnamon rolls. Marjorie will be sadly missed and mourned by her husband of 65 years, Donald; her ten children, Linda, Denise (Curt), Gregory (Pam), Marsha (Tom), Michael (Sherri), Angele (Allan), Annette, Anthony (Cindy), Patricia (Tom) and Maureen (Paul); 28 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; her sisters, Lilah, Cathryn and Margaret Ann; her brother, Paul; and brother-in-law, Ray (Marion) Dolgner; one sister-in-law, Irene Dolgner; nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law, Marvin Adams and her three siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be privately held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kingston with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Salemville Cemetery, town of Manchester, Green Lake County. However, relatives and friends may call on the family at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In accordance of COVID19 guidelines, masks are required to be worn and to practice social distancing. If you are not feeling well, we ask you to please not attend.
