Marjorie J. Novak, 91, of Waupun, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her home.



Marjorie was born January 12, 1921 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Roy and Maude Olson Kopff. Marge attended Beaver Dam schools, graduating from Beaver Dam High School in 1939. Following graduation she worked five years for Dr. O.M. Lechner in Beaver Dam as an office assistant. On January 11, 1947 she married Norbert Novak at St. Patrick’s Church in Beaver Dam. The couple resided in Beaver Dam until 1957 at which time they moved to Waupun where her husband was employed as a meat cutter for Kroger and Red Owl Stores. Following Norbert’s death in 1974, Marge became employed by Green Giant in Beaver Dam for 10 years. Marge was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Waupun since 1957. She was active with the Altar Society and helped out at the rectory for 10 years.

Marjorie Novak is survived by her children, Mary (Michael) Millard of St. Augustine, FL, Norbert (Patricia) Novak of Waterloo, WI, Mark Novak of Waupun, Barbara (Douglas) Tillema of Appleton, Nancy (Daniel) Paulson of Bloomer, WI, Jean (Rick) Stelsel of Alto, WI, Janet Petznick of New London, and Christine Novak of Titusville, FL; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Florence Bykowski of Beaver Dam, Joseph Novak of Beaver Dam, and James and Yvonne Novak of Beaver Dam; 17 grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews; and special long time friends, Ethel Little of Beaver Dam and Charlotte Linde of Beaver Dam.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; a daughter, Cathy J. Novak; a grandson, Jacob Paulson; a brother, Donald Kopff, and a sister, Marion Olsen Mohr.

Marjorie has a loving, caring family that spent all the holidays together. They were always there for each other and for Marge, checking on her to see that everything was alright.


Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Marjorie Novak may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Services:
Memorial services for Marjorie Novak will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun with Rev. Mike Wild officiating.

Inurnment:
Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun.
