Margaret Ann “Mikki” Kile, age 78, of Randolph, died unexpectedly on Dec. 13, 2024 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam after a brief battle with cancer.
Mikki was born in La Crosse, WI the second oldest of twelve children to George W. and Ramona F. (Every) Oyer. She was united in marriage to LeRoy D. Kile on December 19, 1970 in La Crosse. Together they raised a family and moved to Randolph in 2010 where Mikki attended Randolph Evangelical Free Church.
An individual with a vibrant spirit, Mikki found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for music, especially the classic tunes of the 1950s and 60s and classic Country Western music. Known as the "running lady” in La Crosse, she enjoyed her daily walks around Randolph, often accompanied by her grand dog, her energy and enthusiasm inspiring those who crossed her path.
Family was at the heart of who Mikki was. She treasured every moment spent with her family, often documenting gatherings through photographs, which she lovingly organized into homemade albums. Her grandchildren were a source of particular joy, as she showered them with love and affection, frequently gifting treats during the holidays and throughout the year. Mikki's generous spirit extended to the neighborhood children, whom she cherished just as dearly.
In addition to her deep familial love, Mikki cultivated a passion for gardening within her home. Her green thumb allowed her to nurture an impressive collection of houseplants, which she delighted in tending to and sharing with those close to her.
Mikki will be sadly missed and mourned by her husband of 53 years, LeRoy D. Kile of Randolph; her children, Lorrie (Dennis) Hillyard of La Crosse, Frederick Kile of Orlando, FL, Schell Mauss of La Crosse and Dennis (Rachel) Kile of Randolph; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren with one on the way; siblings: Lynda (David) Loeffler, Georgia (Richard) Amundsen, Elizabeth Wing, Randy (Myra) Oyer, Jean (John) Sterling, Jacquelyn Pfaff, Arleigh Jr (Laurie) Pfaff, Jeri Pfaff, and Eric Pfaff; numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and dear friends Eugene and Judy Mitby, Bob and Sandy Hansen.
Mikki was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Arleigh Pfaff; and two sisters: Judith Oyer and Cheryl (David) Kocimski.
