Marcia J. Loomans

Marcia J. Loomans, 82, of Waupun, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun where she has resided this past year.

Marcia was born October 14, 1933 in Oostburg, WI the daughter of Louis and Catherine Wondergem DePagter. Marcia attended Oostburg schools and graduated from Oostburg High School in 1951. On February 22, 1958 she married Glenn H. Loomans in Oostburg. The couple resided in Waupun all their married lives. Marcia was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Waupun. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Marcia is survived by three daughters: Sheryl (Ron) Siemers of Waupaca, Kaye (Corey) Gerritsen of Waupun, Beth (Glenn) Bousquet of Marietta, GA; eight grandchildren: Sam (Gretchen), Ben (Emily), and Nate Siemers, Nick (Jacque), and Casey (Chelsie) Gerritsen, and Jack, Cole, and Claire Bousquet; five great-grandchildren: Amelia Siemers, Henry, Leo, Tripp, and Ada Gerritsen; two sisters: Carolyn (Gerald) Smits of Wisconsin Rapids and Ruth Mentink of Oostburg, WI; and a sister-in-law, Betty DePagter of Sheboygan Falls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Loomans, in 1999; and a brother, Don DePagter.

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time service.



Funeral services for Marcia Loomans will be held Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at

Bethel Christian Reformed Church

in Waupun with Rev. Jeff Brower officiating.


Burial will follow at

Alto Cemetery

in Alto.
