Marcella Logan

Marcella Logan, 92, of Waupun, passed away January 25, 2018 at Grancare in Fond du Lac.

Marcella was born August 2, 1925 in Fond du Lac, WI the daughter of Maurice and Mary O’Laughlin Shea. She attended St. Mary’s Springs Academy, graduating in 1944. On December 2, 1950 she married Kenneth Gahagan in Fond du Lac, WI. They resided in Fond du Lac for a year, Cascade for three years, and then moved to Merrill where they resided for ten years. The couple moved back to Fond du Lac in 1966. Over the years Marcella worked at Ray-O-Vac in Milwaukee, farmed in Cascade, and worked as a nurses aide at the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Fond du Lac. In 1998 Marcella moved to Waupun. On October 20, 2000 she married Leonard Logan. The couple resided in Waupun. Marcella was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun.

Marcella is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann (David) Zuelke of rural Waupun; two sons: James Gahagan of Madison and David Gahagan of Appleton; and three grandchildren: Joseph, Cody, and Matthew Zuelke.

Marcella was preceded in death by her husbands: Kenneth Gahagan in 1981 and Leonard Logan; a son, Joseph Gahagan in 2001; and two brothers, Maurice and Gordon Shea.



Private family funeral services for Marcella Logan will be held at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home.
