Lisa Rae Rens, 47, of Waupun, was born to eternal life Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.




Lisa was born May 8, 1966 in Waupun, the daughter of Robert E. and Judith E. Van Buren West. Lisa attended Waupun Schools, graduating from Waupun High School in 1984. On September 5, 1987 she married Donald W. Rens in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided for a brief time in Brandon prior to residing in Waupun for the remainder of their married lives. A loving wife and mother, Lisa wholeheartedly dedicated her life to her husband and children. Her passionate faith in the Lord strongly influenced her daily life and blessed her family. With no task too big or too small, Lisa gave her all to family and friends. Among her most treasured activities were time spent with her husband and children, traveling, and hosting gatherings. No area of Lisa's life was left untouched by her meticulous nature. Lisa was employed at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Waupun as secretary. Lisa was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church and served as a GEMS Counselor.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Donald W. Rens of Waupun; her children, Tyler Rens of Waupaca, Julia (Luke) Houdek of Beaver Dam, Mason (Andrea Brossard) Rens of Burnett, Madelyn (Aaron) Long of Bethany, Missouri, and Conrad Rens of Waupun; three grandchildren, Nikiah Johnston, Avery Rens, and Amelia Long; parents, Robert and Judy West; two sisters, Sara (Steve) Schneider of Omro and Trena (Trent) Brown of Sun Prairie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Junice Rens; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom (Yenni) Rens of Neenah, Sue (Steve) Guell of Waupun, Mae (Greg) Kosciuk of Winneconne, and Jan (Pat) Nickel of Waupun; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Lisa was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Rob Rens; paternal grandparents, Helen and Robert West; maternal grandparents, Cornelius and Florence Van Buren; aunts, Constance West and Joann Van Buren; uncle, Charles Landaal; and cousin, Heath Van Buren.





Visitation:


Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.



Services:


Funeral services for Lisa Rae Rens will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Jeff Brower officiating.



Burial:


Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
