Linda Zuhlke

Linda L. Zuhlke, 80, of Waupun passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Christian Home in Waupun.

Linda was born October 30, 1943 in Ripon, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Norstrant Nowak. Linda attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she received her bachelor’s degree. On December 28, 1963 she married Wayne Zuhlke in Wautoma. Linda taught school in the Waupun School District for 28 years and was a Sewing Advisor at Nancy’s Notions for five years. Linda was a member of Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun where she was active with the finance committee, choir, quilting, and helping in the office.

Linda is survived by her children: Douglas (Judy) Zuhlke of Waupun, Debra (Bill) Watson of Janesville, Donna Ascher of DePere, and Dawn (Jerry) Austin of Green Bay; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Nowak of Ottawa, IL. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; and a brother, Don Nowak.

Funeral services for Linda L. Zuhlke will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun with Pastor David Knuth officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
