Kenneth Pollesch, 84, of Markesan, passed away October 31, 2020 at Ripon Medical Center with family by his side.
Ken was born August 18, 1936, the son of Louis and Hazel Arndt Pollesch. Ken attended Horicon High School and then joined the National Guard. On September 4,1955 he married LaDean Goodrich at the methodist church in Beaver Dam. The couple moved and worked on many farms throughout their lives. In 1974 they started their own farm in Markesan. Ken loved to do tractor pulling with his John Deere’s and now collects Oliver tractors to use on his fields. He enjoyed hunting with his grandsons.
Ken is survived by his wife of 65 years, LaDean Pollesch; their children: Linda Farr of Waupun, Michael Pollesch of Markesan, Denise (Richard) Bonnett of Rosendale, Keith (Roxane) Pollesch of Brandon, Robin (Scott) Vossekuil of Brandon, Renee (Lee) Klumpers of Waupun, and Cheryl (Marty) Watts of Tennessee; 24 grandchildren: Derrick Dolske, Justin Dolske, Kyle (Carol) Dolske, Alysha Farr, Macalla Farr, Michael William Pollesch, Brittney (Cory) Zickert, Brenden Bonnett (fiance Jessica), Mitchell (Tori) Pollesch, Seth (Alisha) Pollesch, Heather (Craig) Yunto, Paige (Scott) Felten, Berkley and Reid Vossekuil, Jordan (Megan) Klumpers, Brianne Suhr, Austin Klumpers, Randelle (Westly) Hanks, Sarah (Zach) Larson, Rebecca Watts, Caleb Watts, Matthew Watts (fiance Malina), Nathan Watts, and Abigail Watts; 31 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Sharon Wesolowski, Jeanne Paul, Darryl (Dorothy) Pollesch, Carol (John) Cate, Rochelle (Jan) Seering, Rodger (Sharen) Pollesch, Lynn (Bobbie) Pollesch, and Janice (Jon) Downs; along with nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his siblings: Loren Pollesch, Gloria Woock, Mary Spindller, Dean Pollesch, and Gaya Middlestead; and son-in-law, Harry Farr.
Private funeral services will be provided.
