Karlen K. Pinnow, 71, of Waupun, died unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
Karlen was born in Waupun, Wis. on Sept. 8, 1940, the daughter of Clifford and Gretchen Radke.
On Oct. 30, 1959, she married Ervin L. Pinnow in Waupun, Wis.
Karlen was a 1958 graduate of Waupun High School.
She worked for Speed Queen and later retired from National Rivet in Waupun in 2000.
She was a member of First Reformed Church in Waupun. Karlen enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, and reading.
Karlen is survived by her husband, Ervin L. Pinnow; her sons, Randy (Deb) of Fond du Lac, and Jeff (Shelly) of Waupun; her daughters, Rhonda (Tim) Breister of Winneconne, and Amy (Jerry) Meinburg of Van Dyne; her grandchildren, Sara and Jennifer Pinnow, Jake, Cole and Jocelyn Pinnow, Christopher Spencer, Cody and Logan Breister, and Brynn Meinburg; her brother, Terry (Marla) Radke of Stevens Point; her sister, Sharon Brechlin (Bob Fairbank) of Waupun; her mother-in-law LaVern Riel of Waupun; a close family friend, Jo Kwakkel; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ronald; her father-in-law, James D. Riel; and her brother-in-law, Darrell Brechlin.
Services:
Funeral services for Karlen Pinnow will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Waupun. The Rev. Bob James will officiate.
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
Visitation: Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun.
Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funearl service at 11 a.m.
