Karen DeBoer, 37, of rural Brandon, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home.
Karen was born February 9, 1975 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Kurt and Susan Staehling Kuzulka. Karen attended Waupun schools, graduating from Waupun High School in 1993. On August 31, 1991 she married Kreg DeBoer in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in the Brandon area. Karen was employed at Elm Avenue/Dean Clinic for 13 years. Karen was a wonderful wife and mother, always ready to assist Kreg on the farm.
Karen is survived by her husband, Kreg DeBoer of Brandon; their children, Kyle DeBoer and special friend, Alyssa Miller, Katelyn DeBoer, and Klaire DeBoer, all at home; parents, Kurt and Susan Kuzulka of Waupun; two brothers, Kevin (Kelly) Kuzulka of Fox Lake, and Kurt A. (Julianna) Kuzulka of Howards Grove; paternal grandmother, Opal Kuzulka of Waupun; mother-in-law, Sandy DeBoer of Waupun; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kim (Joe) Ruppenthal of Fond du Lac, Kevin (Kristin) DeBoer of Brandon, Karl (Lainie) DeBoer of Forest Lake, MN, and Kristy (Jason) Buteyn of Waupun; and several nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ken DeBoer; paternal grandfather; and maternal grandparents.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Sunday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Karen DeBoer will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Bob James officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Wedges Prairie Cemetery in the town of Waupun.
