Julia Berndt

Julia Berndt, 93, of Waupun, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Julia was born November 7, 1929 in Waupun, the daughter of John and Jennie Heideman. Julia lived in various cities including Middleburg, FL, Cartersville, GA, Sheboygan, WI, and Fond du Lac, WI with her son and daughter-in-law. Julia was married twice. She loved spending time with family, especially around Christmas. She loved western movies, country music, crafts, and coloring and reading books.

Julia is survived by her son: Brian (Lisa) Berndt of Fond du Lac; grandchildren: Tessa (Wes) Frost of Waupun, Eric (Ronna) Berndt of Berlin, Amanda (Nick) Lemke of Omro, Anthony (Summer) Berndt of Florida, Jeff (Debbie) Holmes of Madison, Jon (Carrie) Holmes of Florida, Chris Holmes of Beaver Dam, and Charlie (Beth) Holmes of Clifton; 20 great-grandchildren: Kathryn, Spencer, Julianna, Elizabeth, Erin, Natalie, Kinze, Heaven, Jenny, Brennan, Collin, Owen, Samantha, Damian, Alex, Tori, Allison, Macylyn, Sydnee, and Charlie; 6 great-great-grandchildren: Cason, Hailey, Harley, Haven, Hunter, and Ryan.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Holmes; and siblings: Angeline Schry and Harry Heideman.

Funeral services for Julia Berndt will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
