John “Butch” Buchholz, 32, of Waupun, passed away October 10, 2018 as a result of an auto accident.
Butch was born April 18, 1986 in Waupun to Roland and Joyce Tobak Buchholz. Butch graduated from Waupun High School in 2005. He was a correctional officer for Dodge Correctional for the past 12 years. Butch loved lawn work, music, his dogs, his friends, the Brewers, darts, his Ford trucks, and so much more.
Butch is survived by his girlfriend, Dani Lebakken of Hustisford; his parents, Roland and Joyce Buchholz of Waupun; two sisters: Becky (Josh) Sill of South Carolina and Trisha Buchholz of Waupun; two half-siblings: Dawn (Jason) Moore of Oshkosh and Paul (Jacque) Buchholz of Van Dyne; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and a niece, Braylee.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Funeral services for Butch Buchholz will be held Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Roger Knowlton officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
