Jeanita "Peanut" Marie Oliver

Jeanita Marie Oliver, age 69, formerly of Friesland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 17, 2023 at The Barrett House in Ripon Wisconsin. Jeanita was born May 7, 1953 to Vincent Francis and Gertrude Elzora Wylesky. She graduated from Rio high school in 1971. She married her longtime friend and love, William Oliver, on September 23, 1972. She settled in Friesland Wisconsin where she retired from Enerpac after many years of employment. She was most proud of being the mother to a set of triplets and her first born son only being seventeen months older when she brought them home.

Jeanita will be forever loved by her Husband; William of Friesland, Children; Jeremy (Joy) Oliver of Markesan, Jill (Charles Jr.) Burmania of Markesan, Jeffery (Jennifer) Oliver of Friesland and Jan (Merlin) Tiedt of Pardeeville, Grandchildren; Ashley (Domingo) Lilon of LaCrosse, Morgan (Sloan Krakow) Burmania of Randolph, Dalton Schmitt of Doylestown, Kady Oliver of Cambria, Waylon Burmania of Markesan, Kennedy Bareta of Markesan, Godmother, Mary Fischer of Doylestown and Special Niece Rebecca (Timothy) Durst of Ridgeway.

Jeanita is preceded in death by her Mother Gertrude, Father Vincent, Sister Vicki, Brother Richard, Sister Cindy and Brother Vincent Jr (Jake).

Jeanita was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church of Cambria and her beloved nonprofit organization, Royal Neighbors of America. Jeanita was known for her cooking and baking along with her zest for hosting phenomenal gatherings. She baked from early hours in the morning until late into the evening. Most times, she gave away the things she cooked and baked to others. She was very generous and loved to see other people enjoying the meals she made or the cookies she baked. Jeanita was also a Master Green Thumb with abundant flower beds and vegetable gardens. Jeanita loved spending time with her Grandkids playing UNO for hours on end and teasing them the whole time they played. She enjoyed thrifting and attending Flea Markets with her husband. She rarely missed watching her Packers and calling Waylon to remind him that he is a Lions fan! Jeanita took every opportunity she could to go fishing and cook her daily catch for everyone. She loved the holidays and displaying all her decorations. Most of all, she just enjoyed people and visiting with them.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the Hospice Care and Barrett House in Ripon Wisconsin for their excellent care given to Mom in her time of need.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church in Cambria WI with Rev. Mark Hughey officiating. Burial will follow to the Friesland Cemetery, Friesland, Wisconsin, Columbia County. A luncheon will follow at the church. Relatives and friends may call upon the family on Friday evening, April 21, 2023 at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. and also on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
