Jason Heeringa

Jason Heeringa, 50, of Burnett, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023. 

Jason was born December 5, 1973 in Waupun to Gary and Mary Braun Heeringa. Jason graduated from Waupun High School in 1992. He then worked at Suttle-Straus Printing in Waunakee for the past 20 years. On September 19, 2015 he married Sara Gerber at their home. Jason loved his cats, especially Tommy. He played a lot of video games and used his 3D printer to make a lot of small trinkets. Jason enjoyed using his smoker to smoke a variety of meats. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially at the Sunday family gatherings. 

Jason is survived by his wife of 8 years, Sara; step-son, Brock (Melissa) Vossekuil; father, Gary Heeringa; brother, Mike (Dawn) Heeringa; sister, Angela Heeringa; mother-in-law, Judy Gerber; brother-in-law, Mark (Holly) Gerber; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Heeringa. 

A private remembrance will be held.
