Janice Streekstra

Janice Streekstra, 72, of Waupun, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Janice was born November 26, 1950 in Beaver Dam the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Ebert Siewert.  On November 30, 1968 she married Gary Streekstra at County Line Lutheran Church in the Town of Fox Lake.  Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun most of their married life. Janice was employed at Gysbers Supermarket in Waupun and was a manager of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel office in Waupun. She was a member of Union-Congregational Church in Waupun.

Janice is survived by her son, Paul Streekstra (Teri Vande Kolk) of Waupun; siblings: Karen (Bob) Anderson of Randolph, and David (Joan) Siewert of Randolph; sister-in-law, Karen Siewert of Markesan; and several nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Gary in August of 2020; her parents; and brother, Dennis Siewert.

Funeral services for Janice Streekstra will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Jacob Nault officiating. Burial will follow at Mackford Union Cemetery in the town of Mackford. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
