Janice Kreier

Janice Kreier, age 76, departed this world on December 22, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee following a surprise surgery that took her away too soon.

Janice was born on June 16, 1948, in Beaver Dam, to Leroy and Sofia Yerges Klentz. Janice graduated from Reesville High School. She met her soulmate, Leroy Kreier, and they embarked on their shared adventure on September 27, 1969 when they exchanged vows at Reesville Immanuel Lutheran Church. Their love story spanned 55 wonderful years, characterized by devotion, laughter, and countless cherished moments. Over the years, Janice became an integral part of the community as she dedicated 30 years of her life to working at Wegner's in Hustisford. She embraced the variety of roles she took on, demonstrating commitment and a remarkable work ethic that inspired those around her.

Janice was not just defined by her work, she was an intrepid traveler, with a heart eager to explore the world. Her adventures took her to far-off places including California, Hawaii, and Alaska, and just this past summer, she returned from a memorable trip to Germany. Janice also cherished her times of relaxation at the family cabin up north, where she could unwind and bask in the tranquility of nature.

Janice is remembered fondly by her husband, Leroy; her sister-in-law, Jean Klentz; her beloved brothers-in-laws: Delbert Kreier and Robert Kreier; and a multitude of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who were all touched by her warmth and kindness.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Sofia; her two brothers, Harold Klentz and Fredrick Klentz Sr.; her brother-in-law, Russel Kreier; and her cherished pets: Norman, Missy, and Midnight, who added joy to her life.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun. Burial will follow at Reeseville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
