James R. Schultz, 83, of Waupun, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Jim was born July 19, 1934 in rural Waupun, the son of Lloyd and Elnora Mulhollon Schultz. On July 3, 1954 he married Maylene Armga in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple farmed together in the town of Alto. Jim also drove truck for Waupun Ready Mix, Larson Trucking, and was also employed at Samuel’s Recycling for his last 10 years of employment. He enjoyed deer hunting, the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, and snowmobiling. Jim was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun.
Jim is survived by two sons: Don (Linda) Schultz of rural Waupun and Dale (Marcia) Schultz of rural Brandon; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Marge (Roger) Schneider of Fond du Lac and Yvonne Wustrack of Fond du Lac; a brother, Robert (Wanda) Schultz of Green Bay; and nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Maylene Schultz and a great-grandson, Reed Schultz.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service.
Funeral services for James R. Schultz will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Jeff Nicla officiating.
Burial will follow at Cattaraugus Cemetery in the town of Waupun.
