Cambria: James D. Emmer, age 54 of Hartford, WI was born to eternal life on Saturday, December 29, 2018. A Mass for Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Fox Lake with Father John Radetski officiating. Relatives and friends may call on the family on Friday at the church from 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. Inurnment will be held later in the spring in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery, Town of Trenton, Dodge County. Jim was born on April 20, 1964 to Don and Ruth (Wick) Emmer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee. He was a 1982 graduate of Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI. Jim worked on the family farm in Hartland in addition to his employment at Merton Feed Mill and then with Balex Corp in North Lake, WI for over 20 years. Jim enjoyed playing cards especially rummy and sheepshead and watching Game Show Network. Jim will be sadly missed and mourned by his mother, Ruth Emmer of rural Cambria; sisters, Julie (Tim) LaCosse of Sussex, Jean (Dan) Guenther and Jennifer Emmer (special friend, Joel Junk) of Beaver Dam; one nephew, Levi LaCosse; many other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Donald Emmer; his brother John Emmer; his paternal grandparents, Erwin (Elise) Emmer; maternal grandparents, Leander (Gertrude) Wick; one uncle, Roger Emmer; one aunt, Mary Emmer; three cousins, Laurie and Michael Hanen and Beth Ann Osbourne.
