James “Jim” Erdmann, 67, of Oakfield passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2021 at his home.
Jim Erdmann was born June 18, 1954 the son of Warren and Ester Burkhard Erdmann. On February 21, 1981 he married Kandace “Kandy” Mueller at Grace Lutheran Church in Waupun. Following their marriage, the couple resided in Oakfield, where they spent the rest of their lives together. He owned and operated Hi-D-Ho’s in Oakfield for 27 years. It was the place where people would get their morning “coffee” and “news” for the day. Jim loved the hobby of biking and liked keeping up with the local sports around his area.
Jim is survived by his wife Kandace “Kandy” of 40 years; 6 children: Jacob Erdmann of Oakfield, Ashley Erdmann of Maricopa, AZ, Eric (Daisy) Erdmann of Schaumburg, IL, Karen (Mikey) Reis of Fond Du Lac, Cindel (Kaile) Schimka of Draper, UT, and Jeremiah (Karson) Erdmann of Peoria, AZ; 2 grandchildren: Graycen Erdmann and George Reis; sister, Marjorie (Dennis) Erdmann Young; sister-in-law, Juliene Erdmann; and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by both parents; and a brother, John Erdmann.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial services for Jim Erdmann will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Doug Shotsky officiating.
