Helen Zoellner, 93, of Waupun, died Friday, January 16, 2015.
Helen was born March 31, 1921 in the town of Alto, the daughter of William and Esther Neevel Glewen. Helen was employed as a receptionist/bookkeeper for Stoddard Real Estate Agency. On June 9, 1945 she married Howard Zoellner at her parent’s home in Waupun. She and Howard co-owned and operated Zoellner Well Drilling in Brandon for 30 years. Helen is a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Waupun where she taught Sunday School and was active in its Women’s Society. She was a past member of the Waupun Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in the Lifeline Department.
Helen is survived by a son, Scott Zoellner of Eagan, Minnesota; a daughter, Linda Adamski of Deming, New Mexico; three grandchildren: Alison (Jason) Zylla, Nathan Zoellner, and Missy (Dean) Rodensal; two great-grandchildren: Jordan and Dustin; and a sister, Irene Ruesink.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; two daughters: Beth and Barbara; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Zoellner; a brother, Lester Glewen; and two sisters: Velma Gartner and Jean Vande Zande.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Helen Zoellner will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. John White and Rev. Cal Vande Zande officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
